Job Summary:

As a Barista at Copper Cup Coffee Company, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and care. You will provide unreasonable hospitality to customers, ensuring each guest has a memorable are rave-worthy experience. We are looking for people that are enthusiastic about coffee, enjoy interacting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to our recipes and standards. Maintain consistency in taste and presentation. All drinks will only be served at the highest level of quality.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions efficiently. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues with a positive attitude. Guide customers through a unique and memorable experience that leaves them feeling special and cared for.
• Coffee Knowledge: Stay informed about our coffee offerings, including seasonal specials and new products. Educate customers about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar, work areas, and cafe clean, organized, and stocked. Follow health and safety regulations, and perform regular equipment maintenance and cleaning. Our space is our customer’s first impression of our brand, so it will be kept clean and organized.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow baristas and staff to ensure smooth operations and a harmonious work environment. Support training and onboarding of new team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous barista experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train enthusiastic individuals with a passion for coffee and customer service.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Availability: Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable and punctual.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform tasks that involve repetitive motions.
